Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday (North America) Super Smash Brothers Brawl!

You're two years old today!

Quick, make a wish!

(There aren't any candles because the game disc doesn't have lips and can't possibly blow any out.)

I wish that Brawl's WiFi wasn't laggy to the point of being unplayable. *Blows out the candles.*

I wish this game entertained me for longer than a week after the years of hype.

Yeah, I don't know what it is but this game really didn't capture me and my friends the way Melee did. Just goes to show you that lightning can't strike twice.

I thought Brawl was overall better than Melee in every possible way (except for the sad defanging of Ganondorf, who is now worthless). I was just pissed off that the online play was so ridiculously broken, and still is.

I tried playing with my friend who lives 3 hours away and I swear we get something like 500-700 ping. The delay is bewildering. It's like watching a couple drunk people play.

It's sad when Animal Crossing is pulling better technical achievements in the area of online play than a Smash Bros game.

It's true, but it's still got better online play than Guilty Gear X on the original XBOX.

It's still boring. Eat that, birthday.
